Always Be Empty
Sickly vain
For someone so typically plain
Too shallow
For anyone sane
Mediocre
In her best wear
Not polite enough
Not to stare
Wants only
The finest things to see
Sees only
The things she'll never be
Too much self-esteem
Or too much self-worth
She beams from
Which ever is worst
Wishing for
Things not worth the wish
She can't see
All the things she already missed
So ugly
For someone so pretty
She stood out in town
But was lost in the city
Putting too much importance
On trivial things
Not enough emphasis
On the little things life brings
So no matter what she becomes
She will never really be
And no matter what she views
She will never really see
And no matter who she hurts
She will think she's pretty
But no matter what she thinks
Her life will always be empty
